The New York City Special Rigger’s Association (NYCSRA) is dedicated to keeping our membership updated on safety trends and methods, including but not limited to NYC Department of Buildings/OSHA code changes and compliance, with emphasis on the safety of workers and the general public.
NYCSRA is your voice in government. Our dedicated government relations team monitors relevant New York City legislation, rules and regulations, and lobbies the Mayor’s Office, Department of Buildings, New York City Council and other agencies to ensure the interests of NYCSRA members are heard.

NYCSRA members gain direct access to elected officials and agency representatives through bi-annual technical seminars which provide presentations on timely topics as well as Q&A sessions with the representatives. Additionally, the Association offers member networking opportunities that enable Special Riggers throughout the five boroughs to connect, build relationships, and construct partnerships with other professionals in the construction industry.
